Here is the comic I did as a trade with of his characters Felix Culpa and Dusterhund.....as an Alsatian .
...Since it's not as clear as I would have liked, the scarf Felix is wearing is supposed to look like Tom Baker's, but it just didn't come out. As you Black Adder fans probably realized, I blatantly stole the punchline from the third season, but took it a little further.
..Can anyone guess where I stole the meat line from? =^_^=
Yow -- why didn't you notify me!?!?! I didn't see that this was posted until JUST NOW.
I started laughing maniacally as I saw the first frame. (It is always kind of weird/awesome to see one's own characters without having drawn them myself!).
Kudos on the mannerisms and the body language! You nailed. I like even how you have him with/without/holding/smashing his glasses! That was a funny thing to pick up on, but very appropriate (I do it simply because I don't always want to draw him with glasses! )
Dusterhund would make for a very poofy Alsatian. He looks so happy!
I noticed this with the Fridley piece too --> I like how you got the seams of the jacket the way you did from the semi-crummy sketch I posted. It's the same exact jacket!
Darn! I'm pretty aware of Blackadder, but I didn't expect it. But, ok, about the meat. I'm just throwing it out there: Red Dwarf?
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR AGREEING TO THIS TRADE.
PEACE OUT.
(PS I'm going to steal the sleeping/drowsiness gag from the first 2 frames from you.)
Sorry about not telling you; my bad. I'm very glad you like it, though. =^_^= (a face which signifies supreme elation). Go ahead and steal whatever you'd like from this; it's kinda yours, in the sense I did it for you, so.....
and no, it did not come from Red Dwarf. You have to think a little further back in time.....more "classic" type British Comedy........
