oh, and I got a new job.
I hope to get "Trials" up and running again, I just hit a slump in the art department . . .
'tis all.

Running over the same old ground
What have we found?
The same old fears.
Wish you were here.
I would really like one of your panel-comics, those sequential ones about eggplants and kitties and whatnot. I think it would be cool if you could incorporate one of my characters into it and have him or her interact with your characters (I would find that trippy and WAY cool).
I'm not sure which of my characters would be the most interesting. . .

I have two pics of this dragon fella -> one is the "Standing Dragon", the other is the one in my header.
It's a character from a present-day story I'm working on that's themed around the collasped Milwaukee Road RR Line. ("Milwaukeedriver", get it?) Top secret, which is why I don't post a lot of art from it (as if people would really care one way or another
The character's name is Fridley.
I initially didn't think this would be a good one, because the character is a creep. Not your typical cute dragon. I mean, he's cool-looking, but a real bastard -- and I don't just mean your typical secret "dark and shady past". For instance, he's a baby killer, a hired gun, and addicted to heroin. Right here and now, too: none of this "dark past" stuff.
But he's interesting. He's a "puppeteer", a kind of kit dragon I've made up (800 lb), which are able to look like people. He's not a shapeshifter per se -- he's always a dragon (he can't go into really small places), but he has an ability to make people simply think he looks a certain way by kind of curling his tail to his head and using the colors and shape of the scales to outline a human being, and doing the rest with magic (in kind of a convoluted pantamime act of a human). Does this make sense at all!?
Despite his flaws (which are really a reaction to how he's not supposed to be of this world, but inhabits it anyway), he has a lot of good traits, which is why he's often called on by the good guys.
What do you think?
